Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Job Summary: RoboLodge is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. The BDR will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, as well as nurturing and growing existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and be able to effectively communicate RoboLodge’s value proposition to potential customers. The main responsibility of a Business Development Representative (BDR) is to generate new business opportunities for the company. This involves identifying potential clients or customers, reaching out to them via email or phone, and building relationships with them over time.

Specific tasks that a BDR might undertake include:

  • Conducting market research to identify potential customers or clients
  • Prospecting potential leads through cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach
  • Qualifying leads to ensure they are a good fit for the company’s products or services
  • Setting up appointments and demos for account executives to pitch products or services
  • Providing ongoing support to customers and clients to ensure they are satisfied with the company’s products or services
  • Keeping track of sales metrics and reporting on progress to management
  • Continuously learning about the company’s products, industry trends, and competition to better position the company’s offerings

Overall, the BDR role is a critical part of many sales organizations, as they are responsible for filling the sales pipeline with new leads and opportunities.


  • Prospect and identify potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities
  • Conduct research to understand the market and competition
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads
  • Nurture and grow existing accounts by building strong relationships with customers
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate new leads
  • Keep accurate records of all activities in the company’s CRM system
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales or business development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as needed
